There’s a reason Reno hosts a Lavender and Honey Festival - lavender grows exceptionally well in our hot, dry climate. For the one week during summer when the lavender blooms are at their peak, its beauty in our garden is unmatched. 

Although its bloom window is more brief than most other perennials we offer, it’s an absolute pollinator magnet when blooming. I’ve stood next to lavender plants and enjoyed just listening to the gentle hum of hundreds of pollinators happily doing their things.
