Hops (Chinook)

One plant in a 4.5” pot. Long-lived perennial.

Hops are a fun plant in our yards and gardens. They are very unique in how they grow - as a fast-growing vine that can grow up to 30 feet in one season!

The plant dies back to the ground at the end of the year, making hops a great plant around arbors, arches, trellises, chain link fences, or anywhere else that you want summer shade/privacy, but appreciate winter sun/openness.

While we aren’t homebrewers, folks who know more about it than we do say that you can get up to 2lbs of dried cones from a plant, assuming it’s well-trellised, well-watered, well-fertilized, and generally well-cared for.
