Hollyhock (Indian Spring)

One plant in a 3” pot. Biennial.

A biennial, hollyhock spends its first summer producing foliage and pumping energy into its roots, and spends the second summer sending up beautiful spikes of elegant flowers. 

Capable of growing 5-6’ tall in its second year, we plant hollyhock in a somewhat-sheltered spot (usually against a fence) to keep our winds from wrecking too much havoc.
